Welcome Association Italy visits the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Press release -October 24, 2023   On October 24 Welcome Association Italy meets with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Italy, H.E. Mohammad Reza Sabouri. Our Deputy National Secretary Carlo Palumbo, after presenting our union's assistance services, wished peace to all countries afflicted by war, stating: "War represents a failure for any civilized country, as it affects indiscriminately, innocent or not. We have a great many Iranian members; we understand how important their future is." Finally, the Deputy National Secretary concluded his remarks by reiterating the importance of protecting students, a commitment and duty for which our organization has been advocating for years. Testament to the union's commitment are the more than 2,000 Iranian students who have chosen Welcome Association Italy to assist them and make them feel at home. H.E. Ambassador, was impressed with our organization's commitment and showed himself open to future synergies and meetings that can create a bond between Iranian students and the Italian community, under the banner of Welcome Association Italy's corporate values of integration, inclusion and diversity.
