These include the upgrading of the air conditioning system in the rooms of Villa Ruspoli - Department of Legal Sciences., the replacement of light fixtures in favor of LED technology at the School of Architecture's buildings in the Santa Teresa and Santa Verdiana complexes, and the implementation of a district heating network connected to a woody biomass cogeneration plant for the production of electricity at the Design Campus.
Recent international rankings have highlighted the role of Italy's universities in promoting sustainability. According to the World University UI GreenMetric, several Italian universities rank among the top 30 worldwide for their green initiatives. This recognition reflects the effectiveness of their environmental policies and underscores their commitment to a sustainable future.
