WELCOME ASSOCIATION ITALY PARTICIPATES IN BOLIVIA’S BICENTENNIAL INDEPENDENCE CELEBRATION

Rome, 02/28/2025 - Welcome Association Italy took part in the official celebrations for the Bicentennial of Bolivia's Independence, a high-profile event that brought together leading members of the diplomatic corps and international institutional representatives.

The ceremony, held in an atmosphere of celebration and recognition of the historical importance of this anniversary, was attended by distinguished diplomats, including:

  • H.E. Teresa Susana Subieta Serrano, Ambassador of Bolivia to the Holy See;
  • H.E. Franklin Mauricio Zeltzer Malpica, Ambassador of Venezuela to the Holy See;
  • H.E. Marlyn Di Luca, Ambassador of Venezuela to the FAO;
  • H.E. Sonia Brito Sandoval, Ambassador of Bolivia to Italy.

The event was also attended by numerous ambassadors from other Latin American countries, including representatives from Cuba, Haiti and Nicaragua, testifying to a strong spirit of unity and cooperation among Latin American nations.

Welcome Association Italy 's participation in this important celebration underscores the association's ongoing commitment to fostering intercultural dialogue, international cooperation and strengthening relations between migrant communities and institutions.
