Welcome Association Italy to Literary Event: “Unpublished Tales from the Middle East”

Rome, July 4, 2024 - Welcome Association Italy is pleased to announce its participation in the literary event "Unpublished Tales from the Middle East," held on July 3, 2024 at the Horafelix Literary Café, Via Reggio Emilia 89, Rome. The event, organized in collaboration with the Italian-Arab Assadakah Association, offered a unique opportunity to learn more about the dynamics of the Middle East.

The meeting featured renowned reporter and war correspondent Talal Khrais, an expert on Middle Eastern issues, who shared his firsthand experiences and views on the past and future of the Middle East. With more than 35 years of experience on the front lines, Khrais spoke about the tasks and dangers of a real reporter, revealing authentic and fascinating stories. His career has seen him interview top leaders and tell stories of the Italy of great leaders.

During the meeting, Talal Khrais described never-before-told experiences and background, revealing the risks and pressures a prominent journalist is subjected to on the war border. The journalist discussed the changes in labor movements and journalism itself over the years, delivering strong and direct messages that make people think about the direction in which the world is heading with regard to conflicts of interest, increasingly putting the human factor on the back burner.

The evening was moderated by:

  • Elisabetta Pamela Petrolati, lecturer and poet.
